The Clubhouse

In 2023, I had the opportunity to design the website for The Clubhouse, NJ—a high-level basketball facility founded by NBA Skills Coach Adam Harrington and community builder Clark Machemer. But that was just the beginning.

After launching a sleek, functional Squarespace site that streamlined registration and showcased their top-tier coaching programs, they asked me to stay on and support something as critical: social media and email content strategy.

My Role: Strategy, Storytelling & Steady Engagement

After the website launch, I managed The Clubhouse's social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok and built an email strategy to keep players and parents informed.

We focused on consistency. The goal wasn't to go viral but to show up with value every week.

Each month, I designed and scheduled a steady rhythm of content:

  • Highlighting upcoming sessions, clinics, and camps

  • Sharing coaching tips and basketball drills in a visually engaging way

  • Featuring real athletes who train at The Clubhouse—from local stars to NBA players

  • Promoting special events, community partnerships, and private rentals

Everything is created in Canva, allowing us to maintain a professional and recognizable brand aesthetic. The email content was short, clear, and visual, boosting registration for seasonal programs and reminding families about key dates and offerings.

The tone across all platforms stayed true to the founders' original vision: high-level yet welcoming, elite but inclusive.

The Results: Credibility, Visibility & Measurable Growth

Since launching the social content strategy, The Clubhouse has seen steady growth across social platforms—organic, community-driven, and grounded in authenticity.

Their following has expanded month over month, and engagement continues to grow with each new season we promote. Every post is a touchpoint with the community, and every email leads to clicks, sign-ups, and conversations. As we highlight the caliber of athletes training at The Clubhouse, the credibility only deepens.

More importantly, there's now a rhythm and flow to their digital marketing—one that supports their programs celebrates their athletes and spreads the word about all that The Clubhouse offers.
